Position: IOT .Net Architect

Location: Fort Mills, SC (Only locals)

Experience Level: 10+ Years.

Visa: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD

Project Overview:

• The ideal candidate is expected to build a system to scan RFID’s, QR Codes, and other ID’s on the Equipment while renting.
• Candidates should be willing to work with Legacy systems like RentalMan, OMS systems. Should be experienced in Azure Services, IOT hub, and experience in microservices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain .Net based Legacy applications that interface with Hardware’s such as Cameras, RFID Readers, GPIOsetc.
• Maintain .Net based on premise services and websites and Data integration.
• Design cloud-based applications on the Microsoft Azure platform using .NET and PaaS technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, product owners, architects, developers, and system administrators, to design scalable and reliable solutions.
• Work with development team & tech leads to explain technical requirements, review deliverables and plan for smooth releases.
• Ensure the security, availability, and performance of Azure-based applications.
• Help team to troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud services, tools, and best practices.
• Document code, solutions, and technical specifications.

MUST HAVE skillsets:

• Experience architecting/ designing applications that interface with scanning devices (such as tracking devices, retail bar codes, RFIDs, QR codes, etc.) in either the Rental or Retail space (retail space could be checking out at the grocery store – scanning the barcode)
• Experience in System Design consisting of multi-layer architecture.
• Proficient in .NET development using C# and the .NET framework.
• Familiarity with web development technologies:  ReactJS/NextJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions in Azure with a focus on high scalability/ availability, and security.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with IOT, IOT Hub, IOT Edge or related IOT solutions available in market.
   

Nice to Have Skillsets:

• Awareness of RFID technology is a plus.
